• Drug and Alcohol Screens

It is vital to reach our youth before they become disabled by an addictive disease. Our adolescent substance abuse treatment program provides assessment and treatment for addiction in an individual and group level. Child and Family Focus is able to provide on-site or in-home approved drug and alcohol screens. Screens include a 5 and 10 panel test, hair and alcohol screens that are chain of custody, court approved.

• Substance Abuse Counseling

Child and Family Focus offers individual, family, and group educational and counseling services provided by a licensed substance abuse professional, certified in addiction counseling. Treatment planning is focused on acquiring awareness and knowledge, thus the development of self-help skills for coping, problem solving, and ongoing, active recovery. Group sessions and classes are provided in addition to the participation to working a SMART focused theraputic approuch.

• Crisis Prevention and Intervention

Crisis Prevention and Intervention services are available to prevent crisis through rapid response to critical situations. Our trained staff provides supportive counseling, consultation, and identification of resources and referrals. Child and Family Focus is available to current and past consumers for clinical support and intervention 24 hours a day, 7 days a week , certified crisis intervention and prevention counselors via a monitored paging system.

• Intensive Case Management

In order to successfully empower the families and youth who receive our services, a full spectrum of support must be available, in order to address the significant issues that have previously contributed to past difficulties. Child and Family Focus provide intensive case management support services which involve comprehensive academic and vocational involvement and treatment focus.

In order to provide services to adolescents, Child and Family Focus requires the children to actively participate and progress with the planning and implementation of their education and employment goals. Child and Family Focus are experienced and knowledgeable on the various services available to the youth and have participated in Georgia’s Independent Living Program. Services are typically provided to GA County Foster Homes and residential programs throughout North East Georgia.
