Substance Abuse Services

Child and Family Focus currently provides ASAM Level I services that are tailored to meet specific needs of the individuals illness. This treatment plans typically includes intensive individual counseling, topic related group counseling, peer supports, family therapy, random screening and intensive case management support. Our program incorporates the following services to our comprehensive substance abuse treatment:

• DOT/SAP evaluations

Safety-sensitive employees in the transportation industry are subject to federal drug and alcohol use and testing regulations, under the federal Department of Transportation (DOT). An employee who violates these regulations must be immediately removed from safety-sensitive functions, and he/she may not be returned to any safety-sensitive functions in the transportation industry until and unless he/she successfully completes a DOT return-to-duty process.

• Group and Individual Psychotherapy

Sessions are preformed by a Certified Addiction Specialist which focus on Long Term Management and Recovery. Our licensed professional counselors are certified in substance abuse and addiction treatment and provide the wisdom that only years of experience can provide. Treatment services include a didactic approach which includes assessment, treatment planning, case management, advocacy, individual and group therapy, educational, monitoring and preventative components. Our counselors are trained in various assessment tools, including the SASSY.

• Chain of Custody Drug and Alcohol Screens

Child and Family Focus is able to provide on-site or in-home approved drug and alcohol screens. Screens include a 5 and 10 panel test, hair and alcohol screens that are chain of custody, court approved. Child and Family Focus has teamed up with Lab Re-Source to provide onsite, quality drug and alcholol screens meeting DOT and Judicial Criteria.
